NCSA’s advice on choosing women’s basketball events to attend

Consider your grade level, skill level and progress in the recruiting process. If getting recruited is your goal, attend events where college coaches are present. 

Basketball recruiting events usually happen in the spring and summer. April, May and July are the biggest months for women’s basketball showcases and tournaments. June is a popular time for colleges to host their prospect and elite camps. The NCAA dictates when college coaches can attend events. For this reason, basketball exposure-style events are most popular during the evaluation period.
