The animated film Curious George is based on the children's book of the same title written by H. A. Rey.
The film is about a museum worker named Ted who goes to Africa to find the Lost Shrine of Zagawa in order to attract visitors to the museum. Instead, he comes across a curious monkey who he later names George.
After being unsuccessful in his mission Ted decides to return back but before he leaves he gives George his hat. Not wanting to be alone the money follows him and boards the cargo ship.
Ted tries to stop the plans to demolish the museum but he has been distracted as he takes care of his monkey friend. But George's curiosity may turn out to be more beneficial than he imagined.
This film showcases the beginning of the friendship between Ted and George.
As per the IMDB ratings, the film is rated 6.5 out of 10.
