Caty McNally's brother John McNally is an American tennis player from Cincinnati, Ohio. The right-handed player debuted his Grand Slam in the 2016 U.S Open in doubles.

The brother-sister combo hit it big as tennis skills run through their veins from mother Lynn Nabors-McNally. She played Tennis at Northwestern and has been the top-tier coach for McNallys.

The professional tennis player has won several career honors, including ITA Singles All-American 2020, OSU Scholar-Athlete (2018, 2019, 2020, 2021), and ITA Midwest Region Rookie of the Year (2018).

His mother, Lynn and Kevin O'Neill, who have trained many ATP players, have coached him. Lynn coaches at Harper's Point tennis club.

American wild cards Caty McNally and William Blumberg have a first-round win over Victoria Azarenka and Thanasi Kokkinakis in U.S Open 2022.

McNally stood atop the junior rankings for most of his junior career and was the top-ranked recruit in 2014 and 2016.

Caty McNally's brother, John, won the Clay Court National Championships and the Kalamazoo Hard Court Championships, the two American junior tennis Super Bowls.

McNally also performed admirably on the international level, appearing in three of the four Junior Grand Slams and winning the 2014 Easter Bowl at the International Spring Championship in Carson.

McNally and Cash won nine of their twelve dual matches during the season and were never ranked lower than third in the country.

The tennis star is the fifth Buckeye to win singles and doubles titles in the same season.

The 6-foot McNally has a Bachelor of Business Administration majoring in business and marketing from the Ohio State University. He is a member of Lead Like a Buckeye, program held by Ohio State Athletics.

John won his first pro title, a $25,000 ITF Futures, in a tournament held on Ohio State's campus defeating OSU transfer Jake Van Emburgh in the first round. In the final game, he defeated teammate James Tracey.

According to his LinkedIn profile, before joining the university, he completed his high school education at Madeira High School.
