Aidan Bryant parents Pam and Darrin Bennett helped him get suspended to a tree during practice for years. Pam brought his first silk as a Christmas gift.
Bryant started his career in his family backyard in Prince George, Virginia, at the age of 14 years old. He was inspired into starting aerial stunts after watching Pink perform her signature moves onstage on YouTube.
Aidan grabbed his grandmother's bedsheet and started to hang himself to a tree in their backyard practicing moves to become an aerialist. The entirely self-taught aerialist received his first silk, the nylon cloth used by aerialists to suspend themself in the air, as a Christmas gift. With enough support from his family, Bryant has not looked back since.
His Mother Pam Cutrona Bennett
Aidan Bryant mother Pam Cutrona Bennett is also working as a manager for the aerialist.
Pam has been the fundamental support for Aidan since the beginning of his practice at the age of 14 years old. She would help him get high-up suspended to a tree.
Aidan would attach a rope in front of the golf cart and looped it through the highest branch of the tree which carried him to the top as Pam drove the cart away, slowly.
The mother-son duo continued this complex technique until the AGT winner finally got the metal apparatus to practice with.
Pam accompanied her son to Hollywood, California, once he had secured an in-person audition on AGT season 16 after he got through the video audition round.
Aidan's mom describes her son as an entrepreneur, rather than an athlete. According to Richmond, Aidan would make rainbow loom bracelets to sell in the farmer's market and homemade lamps to sell at craft shows and markets to fund his passion for aerial.
His Father Darrin Bennett
Darrin Bennett does not share much of his son's spotlight. He keeps a fair distance from the press and media as well.
According to Pam's Facebook bio, Pam Cutrona Bennett is her married name but her son's name is Aidan Bryant suggesting Darrin might be his stepfather. However, no one has confirmed yet apart from the subtle clue left on social media.
Regardless, Darrin and Aidan get along really well. The duo is seen sharing pictures together on holidays and other special occasions through Pam's Instagram account.
Darrin is also found on Instagram with his username @darrin.bennett.3, but he has not shared any posts with his 59 followers on the social media account. He also drove Aidan around during their local Christmas parade after securing the second position in AGT in 2021.
