The reigning Super Bowl champions released the linebacker last Monday amid an investigation of a hit-and-run in Foxborough, Massachusetts. A week later, Spikes’ 2011 AFC Championship ring pops up on eBay.

Coincidence? Probably not.

While the seller’s description doesn’t specifically mention that the ring belongs to Spikes, the player's number and name appear in the pictures and on the certificate of appraisal.

Brandon Spikes is selling his AFC Championship ring on eBay:

Spikes was a member of the Patriots from 2010 to 2013, but his first stint in New England ended on a sour note when the team punished him for repeated tardiness. He started 10 games for the Buffalo Bills last season, but the Pats agreed to a one-year deal with him in May, only to release him weeks later.

This isn't the first time Spikes has taken a shot at the Patriots. Do you really think it'll be the last?
