Coleton Boudreaux's Football Recruiting Profile

Personal Statement

I am a 6’1” Linebacker. I’m half way through my senior year at Little Cypress Mauriceville High School in Orange, Texas and will graduate in 2013. This is my third year as a starter on the varsity football team. My Sophomore and Junior year, I was a starting Linebacker and defensive captain for the LCM Bears. As a Senior Captain, the coaches wanted me at several different positions this year. They needed to fill in gaps on both sides of offense and defensive. I played Linebacker, Defensive End, Defensive Tackle, Tight End, and Full Back.

After football season, I'm a member of the powerlifting team. I'm a two year Regional Qualifier and one year State Qualifier where I placed 12th in State in the Spring of 2012. This year my goal is be a State Qualifier and place in the top five. Weight lifting is something that is a daily routine for me during the entire year. I feel weight lifting is an important component of becoming a great football player. It keeps you strong, allows you to stay in great condition to alleviate injure and prepares you for the next year of football.

Throughout high school, I have maintained a 4.0 GPA and I’m ranked in the top quarter of my class. I am looking for an Institute where I can find the right balance between the classroom and the field. I would like to pursue a University with an outstanding academic reputation in the field of Electrical Engineering.

I am very serious and passionate about football. Also, my top priority is creating academic excellence. I'm a team player, focused on working together as a team to succeed. I know I have the ability to play at the next level. I would like the opportunity to showcase my talent and capability for the game of football.
