Delroy Lindo Son Damiri Lindo Is A Basketball Player

Damiri Lindo's mother Neshormoh Lindo previously served as the Vice Chair of the California Arts Council.

She was elected unanimously by the members of the Council on April 22, 2016, at a public meeting. She was initially appointed as a member of the Council by former California Governor Jerry Brown.

Neshormoh served in the position for nearly five years before getting replaced by the current Vice Chair Consuelo Montoya in January 2022.

Damiri's mom Neshormeh NR Lindo is an artist and professional educator originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She works as a visual artist and curator with a passion for lecturing. Further, she regularly writes about the African-American community's cultural and socio-political history. Throughout her professional career, Lindo has worked for various educational organizations like the New York Public Library, Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, Metropolitan Museum of Art, Baltimore Museum of Art, Children's Museum of Manhattan, Oakland Museum of California, and more. As of now, she is employed as an African-American Art History Teacher at the San Francisco City College.

Further, as an artist, Neshormeh has worked at art exhibitions and workshops and designed public murals. She takes a keen interest in drawing, printmaking, painting, and photography. 

Delroy Lindo's wife is a highly-educated scholar with a Master of Science In Education degree from the Museum Leadership Program of the Bank Street College Graduate School of Education. She also has a Bachelor's degree in Art from the Pennsylvania State University.
