Personal Statement

Hello, my name is Diego Romero and I'm in love with basketball. Ever since I was little the sport called to me and from the age of six, I have dedicated time and hard work to perfecting my craft and improving my game.  To briefly describe myself I am a dedicated, well-rounded student-athlete who focuses on school the same as basketball. Off the court I study hard making sure my grades are as they should be, focusing on every little mistake correcting it. Thus preventing it from happening in the future. On the court, I am a Competitive, versatile, and highly intelligent player who analyzes everything in order to get ahead and win. I am a very good teammate seeing as how I get along and encourage those around me no matter the situation. I never do anything to bring down anyone. I myself am not perfect so when a coach of mine corrects me or gives me advice I demonstrate utmost respect, as well as gratitude because of them allowing me to learn and better my understanding of basketball.
