Love Island: All Stars is bringing all kinds of OGs back into the villa. Legends of the show from series 1 to 10 are reunited in South Africa for the ultimate dating experience. Of course with former Islanders comes all their past history on the show – and Kaz and Tyler from Love Island season 7 have a lot between them.
Tyler Cruickshank is no stranger to causing a stir on Love Island. His season 7 days were drama-filled and now he’s back for more. As Maya Jama announced Tyler as the new villa bombshell, his ex, Kaz Kamwi, was visibly shook. It certainly isn’t the first time she’s been surprised by the estate agent’s antics on the ITV show.
Casa Amor left Kaz ‘fuming’
Throwing it back to Love Island season 7 Kaz and Tyler were one of the show’s strongest couples – until Casa Amor rolled around.
Fans’ heads were turned when Tyler started cracking on with one of the Casa Amor newbies, Clarisse Juliette.
Once the news got back to Kaz, she was livid, explaining she “didn’t even sleep in her own bed” but opted to stay on the sofa with Liverty Poole during the iconic episodes.
Tyler “didn’t know where to start” when it came to explaining his antics. He asked Kaz “to put herself in his shoes” before she explained they were, but chose to “act differently.”
Kaz told Tyler to “pick his words carefully,” as he mentioned “being on a lads holiday” during Casa.
Tyler and Kaz’s savage recoupling
After Kaz saw a picture of Tyler in bed with Clarisse in Casa Amor, she said he’d “painted her the biggest dream.”
She told Tyler she thought he was a “game player,” and the two recoupled with other people.
Kaz chose to recouple with Matthew MacNabb after being “blindsided” by Tyler’s kiss with another girl.
Tyler and Clarisse then returned to the villa hand in hand and he said he “found a spark” while on his “lads holiday.”
As if things couldn’t get any more awkward, Kaz confirmed to former host Laura Whitmore she wouldn’t have recoupled with Matthew if she hadn’t seen Tyler’s kiss.
Tyler was stumped as he stood in front of the group before Kaz said: “You lost for words, now? Whatever it is just make sure it’s honest this time.”
Clarisse left speechless
After the Casa Amor shenanigans clearly didn’t go well back at base, Tyler decided to call things off with Clarisse.
He said he couldn’t turn his feelings for Kaz off before Clarisse said she “knew” things would turn out this way.
Clarisse said she “didn’t even want to have the conversation,” before Tyler told her: “It’s just the way I’m feeling though…” adding how he, once again, “couldn’t put it into words.”
The Casa Amor bombshell walked away from the chat telling Tyler she didn’t need to “crack on” in the villa, as he tried to reassure her someone else might walk in who’s “her type.”
Tyler’s return on All Stars
After Tyler was left stumped multiple times during his original appearance on Love Island, it’s now Kaz who appears speechless on All Stars.
The 29-year-old widened her eyes as Maya Jama revealed Tyler was joining the villa.
Fans taking to X (Twitter) “couldn’t believe” Tyler’s entrance with one writing: “Tyler really had the audacity to pick kaz, i just had a physical jumpscare.”
More are as shocked as Kaz by her ex’s reappearance. However, many viewers are totally here for them to rekindle their romance.
One tweeted: “Sorry not sorry but I love Kaz and Tyler. IF they decide to try again and can figure out a way to make it work, I am totally here for it!”
After finishing in fourth place on Love Island season 7, Kaz and Tyler were together for three months. Now, they’ve got another shot at being a couple after being apart for two years.
The two have fans laughing as they are “already arguing,” after Tyler picked Kaz to couple up with following his bombshell arrival.
