Ian Hecox Mom Sharon Hecox and Dad Stephan Hecox

Ian Hecox family comprises his parents and sister Melissa Hecox. The Smosh family refers to all the regular cast members of Smosh and Smosh Games.

The term "Smosh Family" came about because the group often referred to themselves as a family. It is now used by both fans and Smosh themselves.

Ian and Anthony founded Smosh in 2005. Over the years, many people have joined the Smosh Family, including Mari Takahashi, Lasercorn, Jovenshire, Sohinki, FlitZ, Wes Johnson, Keith Leak Jr., Noah Grossman, Olivia Sui, Courtney Miller, Shayne Topp, Boze, and Damien Haas.

Several members of Smosh, including Anthony, Flitz, and Boze, left the group at different times. Anthony left Smosh in 2017, Lasercorn and Sohinki became part-time members in the same year, and Flitz left in 2018.

Joven and Mari became freelancers in 2018. New cast members were introduced, but in 2018, the company that owned Smosh closed down, leaving everyone unemployed. Ian, the Smosh Squad, and Damien continued to make videos, but the Smosh Games Crew didn't appear in any videos. Boze left Smosh in 2019.

Mythical Entertainment acquired Smosh in 2019, with Ian, Courtney, Shayne, and Damien becoming the main cast members. Smosh Games relaunched in 2019, with Mari and Lasercorn returning.

Joven and Wes became part-time members. Sarah, Matt, Tommy, and Spencer began appearing in more videos. Mari left Smosh in 2020 to focus on New Element Six, and on 26 June 2020, Mari, Lasercorn, and Joven announced they would step away from New Element Six.

Hey, guess what? Anthony and Ian are back together on Smosh! And to top it off, they actually bought the whole thing from Mythical Entertainment. But don't worry, the rest of the Smosh family is still going to be around and making great content.

Ian Older Sister Melissa Hecox

Ian Hecox has an older sister named Melissa. Ian first mentioned her in an episode of Ian is Bored where he was looking at his fake family tree.

He once mentioned that his older sister Melissa is a fan of art and Britney Spears in an episode of Lunchtime with Smosh. Although she doesn't seem to live near the Smosh headquarters, she's still an important part of Ian's life.

During The Mother's Day Rule episode, Ian tells a story about how he once accidentally made his sister Melissa choke on a Snapple cap. Melissa also made a cameo appearance in the Boxman's Christmas video.

Ian Hecox wife is rumored to be Pamela Horton. Horton was his former girlfriend who had started dating on 11 September 2015.

During the opening episode of Smosh cast in 2019, Ian hinted that he and Pam had ended their relationship. Pam later appeared as a guest on the fourteenth episode, where they confirmed that they had broken up, but they were still on good terms and wanted to remain friends.

Talking about personal relationships, we have also mentioned about another YouTube comedian Moses Storm who turned his family struggles and background as a basis of humor in his show.
