The pose was similar to a photo of Kobe Bryant in a shower stall with the NBA Championship trophy on June 15, 2001 following the Los Angeles Lakers' Game 5 win over the Philadelphia 76ers.

Clark was wearing shoes from Bryant's signature Nike line March 3 as she scored her 3,668th point to pass former LSU star Pete Maravich on the all-time list of leading NCAA scorers.

Vanessa Bryant then shared an Instagram story congratulating Clark on the historic accomplishment.

Clark continued making college basketball history Saturday during the Hawkeyes' championship win. She was named the Big Ten Tournament MVP, making her the first player since 1995 to win the title three times in a row.

It won't be long until Clark, like Bryant, is establishing herself as a star in the pros. The four-year Iowa star has said she is forgoing her fifth year of college eligibility in order to declare for the 2024 WNBA Draft.
