Personal Statement

My goals for college are very simple.  First, I want to take advantage of the educational opportunities which college offers along with the experiences and relationships I'll grow.  Secondly, I want to continue my dreams of playing competitive sports at the next higher level.  I don't know exactly where I would like to go as a profession, but my interests, outside of sports, are leaning towards business or law.  

I have always wanted to play football and enjoy the team sport very much.  I also compete in track and basketball, as well.  I have improved in my performance every year in high school and believe I can compete on the college level.  I believe I am different from other recruits in that I have a number of GOD-given talents.  I am still young and haven't fully realized my potential or what I am going to do with what I've been blessed with.  I do know, however, that sports is a vehicle towards greater things, and I intend to use all of my abilities to the fullest extent.

 One of the things I have come to recognize is that growth is a continuous process. I believe that both my parents and family, have given me a very good foundation for success.  I am aware I need to improve in my academics and am in the process of doing that, as I understand things could change in one play.  I am a team player and have the ability to be a leader in all areas.  I also believe I would be able to contribute immensely to any school or program who offers me the opportunity to be a part of their team.  I look forward to the future and what it holds.
