John Wall: 'I Would Love' to Reunite With Bradley Beal, Sign Suns Contract | News, Scores, Highlights, Stats, and Rumors

If the Phoenix Suns decide to add another point guard to their roster, John Wall would be more than happy to offer his services.

Speaking to Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium, Wall said he remains very close with Bradley Beal and "would love" the opportunity to play for the Suns if it ever happened.

Wall hasn't appeared in an NBA game since Jan. 13 when he was still with the Los Angeles Clippers. He was traded on Feb. 9 to the Houston Rockets, who waived him three days later.

There was hope that last season would be a rebound year for Wall. He sat out the entire 2021-22 campaign with the Rockets as the two sides disagreed on what his role with the team should be.

Wall and the Rockets agreed to terms on a buyout in June 2022 that opened the door for him to sign with the Clippers.

After a promising start in Los Angeles, Wall's inconsistent play ultimately led to him being dealt before the trade deadline. The 33-year-old could still have a role in the NBA, though it's not clear if the Suns would be a potential landing spot.

Devin Booker and Eric Gordon are the top two point guards for head coach Frank Vogel. Jordan Goodwin, who was included in the Beal trade with the Wizards, has been an effective third guard off the bench.

Any additions for the Suns likely wouldn't come soon because they haven't even seen what their big three can do together. Beal has yet to play this season due to a back injury. Vogel told reporters earlier this week there's no timetable for his return.

Devin Booker returned to the lineup for Thursday's loss to the San Antonio Spurs after missing the previous four games with a toe injury. Kevin Durant is the only member of the trio who has started all five games.

Wall and Beal were teammates with the Wizards for seven seasons from 2012 to '19. They led the team to four playoff appearances and a Southeast Division title in 2016-17.
