Kenneth Hardin's Football Recruiting Profile

Personal Statement

I currently attend Taylor Allderdice in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. I have a 3.5 GPA and have always aspired to play football at the collegiate level ever since I started playing in third grade. I love the sport, and throughout the years, it has impacted my life greatly and shaped me into the person I am today. I am able to work hard and accomplish tasks at hand in order to achieve a greater goal, not only for me, but also for all my teammates. Education has also been very influential in my life, and regarding my life choices. in the last few years I've truly taken to politics and and understanding how our government works. This interest has lead me to want to study political science in college, and become a politician or lawyer. A defining moment in my life is when I chose to leave my old high school, Central Catholic, and begin life anew at Allderdice. Central is viewed as one of the major football powerhouses in all of Pennsylvania and I was apart of a team that contended for the state championship. However, I couldn't see myself thriving in the school's environment and I felt as though I wouldn't be able to succeed and accomplish my goals, regardless of football. This lead me to my new school, Taylor Allderdice, where I am able to achieve both academically and on the football field to a remarkable degree. I am also very passionate about helping my fellow man and those less fortunate than me. I finally decided to do something on a large scale degree by living in Jamaica at an orphanage for handicapped children and helping with their everyday lives. This experience changed my life forever. After that experience I began being resourceful at home and not putting anything to waste.
