Personal Statement

I am a 6'1" left-handed senior golfer from Nashville, Illinois and will graduate in the spring of 2012.  I am a three-year starter on the varsity golf team and have earned all conference honors all three years that I have played varsity golf.  I was First Team All Conference both my junior and senior seasons.  I was named to the All South Team after both my junior and senior season.  I was medalist at the Regional Tournament my senior year.  I have a 3.92 GPA which ranks me 6th in my high school class.

I have a strong interest in studying civil engineering and would like to pursue a university with an ABET accredited engineering program.  I would like to contribute to a competitive golf program, although playing right away my freshman year is not a priority.  I am a hard worker and will dedicate myself to being the best golfer and student I can be.  Although I grew up in the Midwest, I am willing to relocate for the right opportunity.
