Linda Marie Fisher Death – The passing of my dearly loved Linda Marie Fisher, a spirit who brought an incredible amount of love and happiness into my life, is something that I must share with you with a heavy heart. This morning, just before two o’clock, she left in the wee hours of the morning, and her departure has created a significant void.
I referred to Linda as my confidante, my rock, and my person. She was more than just a friend to me. It was a beautiful tapestry that was woven with understanding, grace, unconditional love, occasional annoyance, and unwavering support. Our connection was beyond those that could be expressed in words.
Because Linda courageously confronted the challenges that lung cancer presented, the final chapter of our journey together was a challenging one. During the time that she was receiving the compassionate care of Hospice, I was by her side as her advocate and caregiver, and I witnessed her brave fight.
The tenacity and resolve with which Linda persisted until the very end were truly remarkable, and they exemplified her one-of-a-kind spirit. Taking care of her has left an indelible mark on me, transforming me into a more resilient and compassionate person. She has left a gaping hole in my life that is reverberating with her absence, and I feel her absence keenly.
Because Linda requested that there not be a formal service, there will not be one. Instead, I urge everyone who was impacted by her vivacious spirit to commemorate her memory by participating in an activity that perfectly captures her essence. Crafts, diamond dots, puzzles, and pixel art are all examples of ways to express creativity.
Sending heartfelt cards to loved ones, indulging in her favorite shows, or finding joy in an unexpected Amazon treat are all ways to spread love through the world, just like Linda did. It is fitting that these “Linda” acts serve as a tribute to the beautiful and vibrant life that she led. I would like to express my deepest gratitude to Linda’s friends, whose unflinching support has been a rock of support throughout this difficult time.
In addition, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to the compassionate Hospice team who provided Linda and I with the utmost care throughout this difficult journey. I am extremely grateful for your dedication and kindness. In spite of the fact that Linda’s passing has left a hole that cannot be filled, the legacy of love and resiliency that she left behind will live on in our hearts forever. Her legacy will continue to motivate us to live our lives with the same zeal and enthusiasm that she radiated. She was a shining example of what it means to be in the world. We are going to miss you very much, Linda.
