MAFS’ Georges gaming channel causes havoc but he’s still ‘Baguette King’ Wed 4 October 2023 06:04 Helen Williams

Peggy Rose and Georges Berthonneau are one of the Married At First Sight UK couples taking part in the social experiment series in 2023. Although they seem to be on great terms now, the two hit some stumbling blocks on their honeymoon – specifically when it came to MAFS star Georges’ gaming channel.

Thirty-two-year-old Peggy hails from Kent and is looking for her “prince charming” on the E4 show. She walked down the aisle in season 8 to meet her husband, Georges, who’s 30 and comes from Surrey. Georges won Peggy over by reading out some of his vows in French, but there’s a lot more to be learned about the ‘Baguette King’ following the wedding.

Georges from MAFS’ gaming channel

As many MAFS UK viewers will know, 30-year-old Georges has a passion for gaming.

His wife, Peggy, wasn’t keen on the idea of him spending his days wearing a headset in front of a screen. But, per the episode 10 dinner party, the couple appears to have overcome their differences when it comes to Georges’ hobby.

Georges works as a football physio and in his spare time, he has a YouTube channel called @FrenchBerty.

Georges has thousands of followers

On TikTok, Georges writes that he’s a ‘Variety Streamer’.

He has over 1.2k followers and a further 800 subscribers on his YouTube channel. Georges’ main following is on Twitch, where he has over 3k.

The Married At First Sight UK star also has almost 30k likes on his TikTok @FrenchBerty page.

He posts all kinds of gaming videos on his social media pages as well as some vlogs such as showing a day in the life of a football physio.

MAFS UK star is a ‘Baguette King’

The topic of baguettes has come up on MAFS UK as Peggy appeared utterly confused at what baguettes had to do with gaming.

However, George explained that the ‘baguettes’ are rewards within the gaming world, specifically, they are Twitch channel points.

He writes online that he’s a ‘Baguette King’ so fans can only imagine how many he’s won in his time.

Georges writes on Twitch that he only plays with subscribers on his channel.
