Personal Statement

Being one of the smaller athletes in my grade level, I have had to prove my skills were just as good or better than the larger athletes. I was not given some of the same opportunities as others. Because of this, I have learned that size does not matter, but effort, perseverance and hard work has enabled me to accomplish my goals.  

I believe that good grades in high school are extremely important, and will build a good foundation for success in college. I am looking for a school that fits both my academic goals, as well as an athletic program for me to excel in. My personality, character and commitment to succeed are all attributes that I feel will complement any program.
