Owen Hull's Baseball Recruiting Profile

Personal Statement

My name is Owen Hull and I am a rising senior at Bishop Ireton HS in Alexandria, VA. I love to play baseball, I work hard in the classroom and I am committed to my family, my faith, and my community. 

It has been an exciting few years in baseball at Bishop Ireton, despite the pandemic. Since joining the Varisty team, we have had consecutive winning records, the first since 2013. I believe this is due to developing a positive team culture, led by the players. I like to compete, I am a team motivator, and I believe in being unselfish. I was honored to be named to the All Washington Catholic Athletic Conference Second Team for the 2022 season. 

I have carried over my passion for baseball by helping to improve Alexandria City’s batting cages for Alexandria Little League as part of my Eagle Scout project for Boy Scouts of America. This effort involved my recruiting and leading a team of over 50 scouts, ball players, and parents, with a total of 188 man-hours worked.
