Rashee Daquan Parson – Metropolitan Funeral

Rashee Daquan Parson departed this earth on Saturday, October 15, 2022. Rashee was born and raised in Norfolk, VA on March 24, 1998 to Clayton Parson and Ciscley Mills. Rashee was affectionately known as Gway Jitt Baby/Sheed. He loved everyone he came in contact with. Especially his siblings- he loved them dearly. He loved to laugh, joke and had a smile that lit up the world.  Rashee was educated in the Norfolk Public School System and attended the ROTC program. Later he received his GED and took up a trade as a barber. He enjoyed playing basketball and football for Huntersville’s Recreation Center. He attended St. Mary’s where he was a member of youth choir and Jr. Nights.

Rashee predeceased by in death his maternal grandmother Emma Mills, maternal grandfather Wardell Mills Sr. and Paternal grandfather Clayton Parson Jr. Rashee was a good friend, loving, caring, giving, straight forward, hard worker and dependable person.

While we grieve the loss of our son, brother nephew, cousin, uncle and friend, we rejoice in the life Rashee lived.  Many people may live a longer life than Rashee, but few have lived as well or have been as influential in the lives of everyday people.

Rashee leaves to cherish his mother Ciscley Mills, father Clayton Parson (AmyBrown), paternal grandmother Barbara Parson, baby sister Emily Mills and five brothers Devin Mills, Ivan Mills of Nebraska, Patrick Mills and Rashon Hurst, niece Natalya Hurst, nephew Davion Hurst and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
