Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Zay Flowers told reporters he hasn't gotten over the fumble that sealed his team's defeat to the Kansas City Chiefs during the Jan. 28 AFC Championship Game.

"Honestly, I still ain't get over it. I still think about it," Flowers said, per Ravens reporter Sarah Ellison. "I know next year we have a chance to get back there and try to make it to the Super Bowl. That's why I'm working hard every day and going hard every day to get back to that moment."

The Ravens were trailing the Chiefs by ten points at the beginning of the fourth quarter when Flowers caught a short pass from Baltimore quarterback Lamar Jackson.

Had Flowers been able to make it into the end zone, the Ravens would have been one possession away from a trip to the Super Bowl.

But Chiefs cornerback L'Jarius Sneed forced the ball away from a diving Flowers, successfully forcing the first fumble of his rookie season.

Flowers still has plenty to build on after completing a historically successful first season for the Ravens.

He led all Ravens rookie receivers with 77 catches and 858 receiving yards during the regular season.

Flowers was similarly impactful during the postseason. He scored the Raven's lone touchdown of the AFC Championship Game on a 30-yard pass from Jackson in the first quarter.

Ravens fans have every reason to believe Flowers will be able to rebound from that memorable fourth-quarter fumble when his second season as Baltimore's top receiver begins this fall.
