Skylar Schuette's Women's Lacrosse Recruiting Profile

Personal Statement

I have always gotten good grades in school, normally all A's and one B, which at the time I was fine with, but as I got older I realized that if I can get a B+ every year, it shouldn't be to hard to raise it to an A. My first goal is to get straight A's throughout my high school years. I am aware this will be challenging, but its important to me to accept the challenge. There are many goals through my collegiate years I would like to accomplish, both academic and athletic. Academically, I hope of achieving high grades in school. To put myself in a position to be accepted into a good medical program. As for athletic goals, I want to continue playing lacrosse as a major contributor to the team. With the ultimate goal of winning a national championship. When you see me, many coaches may not even consider me, because I am not a tank , I am a snake. I'm fast, sneaky, and have quick explosive steps to get around people. Although, I can promise you this: I will probably never be the biggest player, nor the strongest, but you will not find anybody that works harder than me. I have been in the shadows of teams, where I have barely touched the ball, they gave me one chance, and I finished it right into the back of the net. That's when those girls saw she is here to play. No matter if I am the worst player on the team or the best nobody will work harder than I.
