Cerreta Candy Company
We ventured to the West Valley, Glendale, AZ to take the tour and sweet activity at Cerreta Candy Company!
We had the opportunity to take the kids to see the magical production of candy of a family-owned candy factory that has been in Arizona for more than 50 years! I remember going on field trips when I was in elementary school and the place looks just as I remember, retro machinery, harvest gold in color and walls coated with murals from another era. Taking my kids to experience something I did back then was memorable.
They learned how a sea of caramel became wrapped treats, how the cream centers are enrolled in luscious chocolate and the history of chocolate and the family-owned business that's four generations of candy makers strong.

After the quick talk tour the kids completed a chocolate Teddy Bear decorating, Pizza To Go-Italian chocolate and the Halloween theme rice crispy Frankenstein.
