Personal Statement

My personal goal is to obtain a degree in Criminal Justice while maintaining a 3.0 GPA. I aspire to be a positive role model to my community and to show them that low-income communities can achieve positive results with hard work. My selfless service to my family, teammates, and friends makes me a natural fit for any team. In my opinion, winning is contagious, and I am more than willing to sacrifice any part of my game to help my team win. I take pride in defending key players on the opposing team even if they are taller then me. My knowledge of the game of basketball allows me to take timely shots, make smart passes, and control the tempo of the game. My outgoing personality, personal commitment to excellence, and my willingness to accept criticism are my main characterizes. Athletically has extremely quick, agile, and I have fluid shooting motion. Academically I work hard to achieve good grades, and I am not scared to ask for assistance if I need help.
