“This N***a Just Got Called Corny”: Lakers Owner Jeanie Buss’ Engagement Shadowed by Fiance Jay Mohr’s Blatantly Racist Slurs

Jeanie Buss has been in the LA spotlight for far too long to understand that the light misses nothing. She should know because she basically runs the most popular team in the Western Conference. And the world-famous Los Angeles Lakers would not want their owner dating a racist.

Rumors of her dating comedian/actor Jay Mohr had been circulating since 2017; she recently confirmed it. Tonight’s announcement of their engagement only cemented it further. But does she know what his Twitter holds?

Because Twitter detectives seem to have done their magic. They pulled out five-and-a-half-year-old tweets, and some even further back, where he was openly racist towards African American people.

Moreover, he hasn’t shown an iota of remorse for using the extremely offensive word because he seems to find it funny. He even pulled up a bit from Andre Iguodala’s interview about Steve Kerr, asking what the rules were. It almost looked like he was ready to let the expletive fly if he got a pass.

Jay Mohr has more controversy – and it involves a player who brought the Lakers their lone championship in 10 years

LeBron James, a superstar and an icon of the game was brought over by Jeanie Buss to fulfill one need. Win a championship. And that he did, courtesy of one of the most tightly contested postseasons of all time. And yet, when Buss knew her fiancé had tweets like this, she couldn’t even ask him to delete them.

It’s an absolute sucker punch when you have your employer marry someone who openly disrespects you. The person who is supposed to protect you from vitriol is bringing it into the house. Jay Mohr is not funny; he’s just vile.

Jeanie Buss is in hot water – She has disgruntled fans and employees she needs to placate

This lady took over a business from her father, knowing full well what sort of challenges it entailed. Yet, when making choices in her personal life, she decides to bring the challenge home. A racist, incongruous, and spiteful boyfriend.

Not for the owner of the biggest team in the Western Hemisphere, not for the owner of a bodega in New Hampshire. Nobody should ever side with hateful people, much less someone who copied work from another comedian.

The land of the free (speech) should understand that being funny does not imply making hateful remarks followed by a smiley face.
