Tony Goldwyn Wife, Jane Musky & Their Love Story
Dating isn’t just for celebrities when it comes to Hollywood – many famous faces have coupled up within their field, from Jennifer Garner and Scott Foley to Jessica Biel and Chris Evans.
A less common pairing, however, is between creatives in the industry. Take Tony Goldwyn and Jane Musky, who have been married successfully for over 34 years!
The lovebirds are raising two daughters in Connecticut, to boot.
Jane Musky and Tony Goldwyn are a match made in Hollywood heaven – two showbiz powerhouses that have been together for an incredible 34 years!
The Couple’s Love Story
The couple’s relationship began when Jane, a New Jersey native and accomplished art director and production designer, was introduced to Tony – an actor from a long line of entertainment royalty – by a mutual friend.
Since then, they’ve stayed devoted to each other while raising their two daughters Anna Musky-Goldwyn and Tess Frances Goldwyn outside of the bright lights of Tinsel Town.
Being from an entertainment family themselves, both girls eventually followed their parents’ footsteps into acting and writing.
But that doesn’t mean Jane wasn’t the one adding her own star power; she even helped secure her husband the lead role opposite Demi Moore and Patrick Swayze in a ’90s golden oldie!
Jane Musky may be best known for her work as a production designer in the 1989 classic “When Harry Met Sally,” but she’s earned critical acclaim for her designs in memorable films like 1992’s “Glengarry Glen Ross” and the 2018 romantic comedy “The Seagull.”
Her contributions to the art of filmmaking have been recognized by several organizations, including an Art Directors Guild Award nomination for her work on the 80s series “Murphy Brown,” and a Daytime Emmy nod for Outstanding Achievement in Art Direction/Set Decoration/Scenic Design for the 1980s-90s CBS show “Schoolbreak Special.”
While she has yet to win such awards, Jane continues to produce quality art that is sure to be appreciated by generations to come.
Tony Goldwyn was his best friend’s wingman when the two met Jane Musky, but things didn’t go quite as expected. On their notorious first meeting, which included a jog followed by a spontaneous swim in a pond (that the pal refused to join due to its “living things”), Tony had no idea that this would be the beginning of a long-term relationship with Hollywood royalty.
The couple has now been together for a remarkable 34 years – and for Tony, it only took one meeting for him to recognize an extraordinary connection with Jane.
He said: “I knew when I was 21 when I met her that I’d better hang on because I’ll never come across this again”.
And while they’ve undoubtedly gone through their fair share of difficult times during such a long period of marriage, Tony credits the respect he has for his wife as what keeps them working through their issues and still going strong.
Jane & Tony’s Daughters
For Jane and Tony, their two daughters Anna and Tess were the most important parts of their lives. Fortunately for them, both of their girls followed in the footsteps of their father when it came to working in the film industry.
Anna is a screenwriter and fitness enthusiast who has also been a triathlete and cycling instructor. Her sister Tess is an actress, director, and writer – her latest works include 2020’s “Red Flags” and 2021’s “but I’m here too.”
Despite raising their children away from Hollywood’s hustle and bustle, the couple have made sure Anna and Tess unlock their full potential in this space.
