Trenton Lehrkamp Video – The Tragic Incident In Georgia

It has released an update on its investigation into an incident that occurred on March 21st, leaving a 19-year-old teenager hospitalized.

Trenton Lehrkamp was reportedly picked up from his house by people he thought were his friends, who turned out to be abusive perpetrators.

They went on to torture, humiliate, and assault him in inhumane and terrifying ways for hours.

Social media reports suggested Lehrkamp was bound with tape, forced to ingest massive amounts of alcohol and other substances, and sprayed with paint.

Lehrkamp was later dropped off at a hospital, where he was put on a ventilator and battled fevers and a lung infection.

He was being treated for a high level of intoxication “from a mixture of controlled substances and alcohol,” according to police.

The teenagers involved reportedly documented the incident on Snapchat before taking Lehrkamp to the hospital.

The organizer of a GoFundMe page set up to raise funds for his medical bills wrote that Lehrkamp wouldn’t know until it was too late that these were not friends, but vile and abusive perpetrators.

Police responded to the Southeast Georgia Health Center at around 10:40 p.m. on March 21 after the hospital reported that a person had been brought in with a high level of intoxication.

The juveniles who brought Lehrkamp to the hospital registered their names with the ER but left before officers arrived. Police said officers “did not see any signs of physical injury” on Lehrkamp but “did note the presence of spray paint.”

On Sunday, police interviewed Lehrkamp at the hospital, and he was alert and conscious enough to give a statement about what transpired on the evening of March 21.

The victim and his family are fully cooperating with the police department and the investigation.

According to a message sent to families on Monday, the incident involved several current and former students in the Glynn County School System.

“We are aware of the allegations of an off-campus incident that involved several of our former and current students,” the message said. “At this time, the Glynn County Police Department is actively investigating this matter, and we are cooperating.”

Police served a search warrant on a residence on St. Simons Island, where the incident occurred, and collected numerous items of evidence related to the investigation.

They also served supplemental search warrants to gather further evidence. Detectives interviewed several juveniles associated with the incident and are continuing to conduct additional interviews.

The police department has been consulting with the Georgia Bureau of Investigations, the Glynn County Sheriff’s Office, and the Glynn County District Attorney regarding the investigation.

Lehrkamp is currently recovering in the intensive care unit and is said to be in stable condition.

However, his anguish will surely result in a long recovery, both emotionally and mentally. He is still lightly sedated as he is very panicked and anxious when awake.

The GoFundMe page set up to raise funds for his medical bills has collected over $34,000 in donations in less than a day.
