The authorities are circulating Tubtim Howson’s photo after evidence proved her involvement in the hit-and-run case. 

While there is limited information available on the suspect, they have urged public members to contact them immediately if they have any additional information that would help locate this individual or lead to her capture. 

The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office and federal officials are working together to bring justice to the family of Ben Kable, who was tragically killed on New Year’s Day.

The driver, Tubtim ‘Sue’ Howson, aged 57, was identified as the one who caused Kable’s death as he was getting out of an Uber. 

The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office conducted the initial investigation and gathered information from witnesses who described the vehicle and driver. One witness reported seeing the driver before she fled the scene.

Travel records reviewed by the FBI reveal that Howson left Michigan two days after the crash and purchased a one-way ticket from Detroit Metro Airport to Dallas-Fort Worth Airport. 

From there, she flew to Thailand and arrived on January 5. Kable’s father, Mike, expressed disbelief that someone could hit and kill someone and leave without facing the consequences. He called on Howson to turn herself in and bring justice to his family.

Tubtim Howson, a resident of Oakland Township, is currently on the run after being accused of a hit-and-run incident. She is originally from Thailand and lives in the US with her husband and children.
