Kids Baking Championship winner Paige Goehner was just 11 years old when she took home the show crown. Now, she’s thriving even more after making her debut on the baking competition. Since becoming famous, Paige rarely goes a day without creating something delicious in the kitchen.
Kids Baking Championship is the spin-off of much-loved favorite from the Food Network Holiday Baking Championship. It follows young bakers from nine to 13 years old grab a rolling pin and show off their talents. Most of them learned from their grandparents, parents and caregivers. The season 6 winner, Paige, hasn’t just been baking but secured a whole list of achievements since her big on-screen debut.

Paige Goehner from Kids Baking Championship
When Paige appeared on Kids Baking Championship, she was only 11 years old and not even in middle school yet. From Blaine, Minnesota, she was also a contestant on KBC’s All-Star Holiday Homecoming.
At the time, she was a sixth grader at St. Paul’s Hill-Murray School and won the $25,000 grand prize. Paige wowed judges and hosts Duff Goldman and Valerie Bertinelli with her chess-themed cake.
The winner was open about having juvenile arthritis, and intended to donate some of her prize money to the Arthritis Foundation. She got into baking by helping her father when he made desserts or cakes.
How she won Food Network show
Paige was crowned as the winner of season 6 in 2019. She beat seven other top kid chefs from across North America, performing under extreme pressure.
It was her rich chocolate checkerboard cake that made her a champion. One of the two other finalists, 10-year-old Meadow Roberts, is also from Minnesota. The two are now close friends.
When she joined the show, she had to keep it a secret for nine months. Filming for the competition over a three-week period in New Orleans, her big secret was revealed to 160 friends at church!
Where season 6 winner Paige is now
Paige continues to bake since winning Kids Baking Championship. She also met Adam Sandler, passed her driver’s test, and turned 16 years old on July 16, 2023. The winner is now halfway through high school!
She celebrated her fifth anniversary with KBC last year and even paid Baker National a visit. And although she still spends time in the kitchen, her golf season, which began in April 2023, definitely kept her busy.
Paige also got accepted into a college program for the next school year. In October, she opened up about how her arthritis has recently affected her jaw, revealing she’s been in remission for the last three years.
