“You Know My Body” by DreamDoll (ft. Capella Grey)

It’s kinda hard pinning down exactly what the title of this song (“You Know My Body”) is supposed to mean within the context of the way it is utilized in the chorus. But in terms of what this track is actually about, it centers on DreamDoll’s romantic expectations.

And most simply put, you don’t need to be stepping to her if you’re broke or inefficient in the sack. That is to say that the rapper does in fact have options and on top of that apparently no qualms in terms of dumping one dude and moving on to the next if the situation calls for it. 

So in a way DreamDoll is in fact “Nicki Minaj’s Son”, as she is referred to on one wiki, as this sounds exactly like something Nicki, Megan Thee Stallion or other popular female rappers may say. However, admittedly the lyrics of “You Know My Body” are quite impressive.

Meanwhile Capella Grey is a co-headliner alright, but he doesn’t have any verse, rather holding down the chorus and outro. And it seems that what he may be saying, once again going back to the titular expression, is that he’s the type of guy who fits the aforenoted bill. Put simply, he has the ability to satisfy all of the romantic needs of a woman like the lead vocalist.

DreamDoll is a hip-hop artist who, as it currently stands, is perhaps better known for her reality TV career than her musical ambitions. However, she has also experienced some notable success in the latter regard.
